looking for a job

The tears fall but no one will see Because they belong to a man on the street Who tried to find a simple kind of work But the employer’s criteria he didn’t quite meet He’s trying to start a new life alone Because no one is willing to take the chance To hire a person who lives on the street Not willing a simple life to enhance So the man pounds the bricks again Applications for work he tries to get completed But the employees say they’re not hiring He ends the day feeling he’s failed and defeated This is all that I’m trying to say here That everyone deserves the chance to work Not to be discriminated against or rejected
